This month, we’re diving into a Universal Law you may have heard of but didn’t realise is a Universal Law – The Law of Non-Judgment.
Most of us were taught as children that it’s wrong to point fingers at others – yet we live in a world where it’s incredibly difficult not to judge others for their actions. We even tend to judge ourselves. I certainly know that I’m my own biggest critic.
Society doesn’t make it easy for us not to judge – everything is, to some extent, built around judging everything and everyone. As Danes, we also carry remnants of the Jante Law, which still looms over us. I believe the Jante Law has, in some ways, helped Scandinavians develop a sense of freedom and equality among each other, regardless of gender, sexuality, income, or profession. Of course, there are differences, and not everyone has the same opportunities, but overall, we are more equal here in Scandinavia than in many other countries and parts of the world.
The downside of the Jante Law and the reason so many dislike it, is that while it fundamentally states you shouldn’t think you’re better than others (and thereby judge yourself as more valuable than others), the Jante Law itself is a significant manifesto of Judgment. It is, in general, highly negative.
So why am I bringing up the Jante Law in an introduction to the Universal Law of Non-Judgment? Simply because one of the reasons we judge ourselves and others so much has a lot to do with our culture and how we were raised. The Law of Non-Judgment encourages you to be a bit more open-minded, which in turn can boost your relationships, connections, finances, success, and Manifestations.

#1 – The Law of Non-Judgments 101.
The Law of Non-Judgment is an intriguing Universal Law because it speaks to something we all do to some extent. Let’s be completely honest: it is entirely Unrealistic and Delusional to believe that we can refrain from judging altogether. All our actions and opinions are based on an assessment of choices, meaning we’ve judged each option based on what we consider right and wrong. These days (November 2024), it’s particularly challenging not to judge Americans (Trump supporters) for electing the bonehead Trump as president and Elon Musk for financing the circus to become Trump’s First Lady. This is a perfect example of how the Law of Non-Judgment operates.
The Law of Non-Judgment doesn’t state that you must never judge. It simply says that if you do judge others (regardless of the reason or justification), you must be prepared to attract something into your life that judges you in the same way.
Similarly, if you judge people with great success, it will be difficult for you to attract success into your life because you hold a negative attitude towards successful individuals. You don’t want to become the very thing you think and feel about successful people. Consequently, your manifestation is blocked before it even begins.
The Universal Law of Non-Judgments states: Our judgments attract judgments to us of equal measure. The Divine does not judge us, only humans do.
The Law of Non-Judgments is a Sub-Law of the Law of Liberty, along with the following Sub-Laws:
- The Law of Equalities
- The Law of Freedom
- The Law of Correspondence
- The Law of Essential Divinity
Essentially, you have the freedom to think and believe whatever you wish – you just need to be prepared for the possibility of consequences when others (or even yourself) judge you based on your own Judgments and assessments.
The way I practise the Law of Non-Judgment is by remaining neutral in most situations. I have opinions and clear views on what is right and wrong. I simply choose not to voice them unless something is so severe that I cannot remain silent. It’s surprisingly easy to stay neutral and just observe what’s happening. You don’t necessarily have to form an opinion about everything…
