How I’m Using Mental Alchemy in My Everyday Life.

Mental Alchemy is something I have been using my entire life. In some ways, I actually think it had saved my life when life kicked me the hardest.

I was thinking about how to outline this article; should I part it up with the different areas of life like finances, relationships, career, family, health, travel, getting out of life crises, etc. but I realised that I’m using the same technique on auto-pilot no matter what area we’re talking about. 

Being a survivor of domestic violence, having a mother who is a narcissist with psychopathic traits, being bullied and having survived multiple Dark Nights of the Soul, people always ask me how I recovered from all that and am happy and joyful today – and how I have resources to help other people… and the answer is simple! Because I’m using Mental Alchemy on auto-pilot. 

It had become so natural for me to shift the Frequencies in my life into positive and supporting ones. It might take a day or two… or maybe a week… but I will always manage to shift the Frequency eventually. In most cases, it only takes a couple of hours.

Since I have PTSD from my childhood trauma, I’m prone to depression that sometimes turns into Dark Nights of the Soul. (I have an article specifically about the Dark Nights of the Soul scheduled to be published in June.) When depression or Dark Nights of the Soul is involved, it takes a longer time to make the shift, but eventually, the shift will happen.

I don’t expect you to be able to do Mental Alchemy on auto-pilot. Remember, I have done this my entire life. Start out small and start practising Mental Alchemy when needed. 

Tip #1 – Be Crystal-Clear about What You Want.

Knowing what you want is SO essential in order to manifest the life you want to have, achieve your goal, AND have a destination for your inner GPS to connect you to. 

In Manifestation work, we have to become Crystal-Clear about our goal or desired outcome. In Mental Alchemy work, we must be Crystal-Clear about our ‘home’!

Your ‘home’ is the destination where you’re shifting the Frequency back to when it gets out of line. Think of it like making a phone call – unless you have a person’s phone number, you won’t be able to call them.  If you don’t know your ‘home’ Frequency, it’s close to impossible to shift the Frequency back to it.

Energy Frequencies work best if you use your emotions! I always focus on what I want to be my most dominant emotions and then navigate my life from that point. If something in my life doesn’t support my desired most dominant emotions, I know it’s time to shift the situation and bring it into alignment with how I feel so I can return ‘home’.

As a Bonus Effect: Your life right now is the Manifestation of your Most Dominant Thoughts, Emotions and Actions up till now. So you can use Mental Alchemy to return to ‘home’ will help you to align your Energy Frequency with what you want to manifest.

Tip #2 – Make an Effort to Make the Necessary Changes.

This is where many people fail… and they fail hard!

People fail because they want the change in their lives, but they are not WILLING (or ready) to make the necessary changes that arere required for their lives to change.

For as far back as I can remember, my dad has always repeated these words to me

“If you continue to do what you always had done, you’ll continue to get the same outcomes as you always get! So, if you want a different outcome, you need to do something different from what you’re usually doing!”

In other words, make a change in your actions!

Humans are creatures of habit, so it takes some time to get out of our usual ways of doing things. It takes about 21 days to change a habit and 90 days to make something a habit! It’s because habits have created neurological pathways inside of your brain. So when you’re changing a habit, your brain needs some time to change the neurological pathways – and it takes about 90 days of repetition before the new neurological pathways are fully settled.

Keep this in mind so you aren’t so hard on yourself. 

21 days to change a habit.

90 days to make the habit stick.

Since I do Mental Alchemy on auto-pilot, it’s a habit, and the neurological pathways have already been created in my brain – and since I have been doing it for over 30 years, I can make the shift of Frequency quite instantly. 

When I need to make a shift, I always go into action. I know that if I don’t do something about it and make some changes, then shifts will be hitting the same wall over and over.

Tip #3 – Think Outside the Box and be Creative.

We are often stuck because we keep repeating the same patterns over and over!

Some of my biggest successes in life had happened because I thought outside of the box, took a leap of faith and just did it. 

The worst thing that can happen is getting a no. – and no means Next.

You see, everything in life happens for a reason. It provides us with the opportunity to grow and learn from the situation. Courage, creativity and thinking outside of the box are always great ways to make the necessary changes! After all, the old ways clearly didn’t work – if they did, you wouldn’t be in a situation you want to change! 🤷🏻‍♀️

Tip #4 – Be Honest, Authentic, and Play with Open Cards.

So, here is the thing. I am not capable of lying! If I’m trying to, I am busted right away. Several people have told me it’s because I have an animated facial expression that very much reveals what I think and feel about situations… and apparently also if I’m not telling the truth. I’m not aware of it – I only know about it because people have told me about it many times. Since people apparently can read me as a book by looking at my face, I have decided that it’s a waste of time to try to make things up, create a story to hide behind, and come up with excuses.

I have found that living an honest, authentic life, where I’m playing with somewhat open cards, is making my life a lot easier. There are no stories I need to remember; there are no covers I need to keep up with, there are no remember-who-I-have-told-what. It gives me a lot of peace in my mind and helps me be centred on my Desired Most Dominant Emotions. I don’t hide anything, so there is no fear of getting busted.

That said, playing with open cards doesn’t mean that you spell everything to everyone. I have secrets too. I keep things private… Actually, I’m a very private person. If you check my Instagram account, I rarely post things about my personal life. I share a few things about Diva, and I also share some mood pictures here and there… but I’m never sharing real deep things. Honestly, because it’s none of anyone’s business who I’m spending time with, what I’m doing, and what I’m up to in my private life.

In Mental Alchemy, being honest, authentic and playing with open cards is both a matter of keeping peace of mind and removing the fear of getting busted for something. But it’s also a matter of creating an Energy Frequency in your life where you’re attracting honest, authentic, and loyal people and situations into your life. I’m playing with open cards because it’s important to me that people know where they have me and that they can trust me. That, for me, is loyalty! 

Tip #5 – Have Faith.

My number one tip for anything in life is Having Faith that Everything Will Work Out Eventually!

It brings me back to what we just talked about. Remove clutter from your mind and create peace of mind!

You’ll be at peace when you have faith that everything will work out eventually.

Obsession

Stress

Frustration

Anxiety

Overanalysing

Mapping 10 steps ahead

Micromanaging

… those are all actions from the fear-based mind which will block anything good from happening.

When you have real faith, you won’t obsess, get frustrated and check in 117 times throughout the day.

The key to Instant Manifestation is complete Faith and peace of mind!
That is way easier said than done – which is why Instant Manifestation is one of the hardest disciplines within Mental Alchemy and Manifestation work.

Tip #6 – Choose Love over Fear

Love is the most powerful force in the Universe! It’s stronger than anything, and it can break any curse! 

However, this is not the romantic kind of love between two people or between family members. Not even to a baby.

The Love I’m talking about is with capital L and referring to the Divine Love. The Love some religions are calling the spirit of God. The kind of Love that comes into mind when you’re thinking about Angels. 

Since our souls are created by the Light of Love, we’re extensions of the Source of Love (God). This means that our real ‘home’ is in the presence of Divine Love. We are spending a lifetime returning to our ‘home’ in the presence of Divine Love. Unfortunately, life doesn’t make it easy to stay in the presence. There would always be something that tries to pull us out of our inner peace! The majority of humanity has totally forgotten how it feels to be ‘home’ for not to mention how to find their way back again. 

Remember, I don’t practice religion. My work is all about Energies and Frequencies, so when I use religious terms, it’s to make it easier for you to put into context with something you already know.

Choosing Love over Fear is a practice you would have to do over, and over, and over again, every day for the rest of your life… every time something happens with a negative tone, say: 

“I choose to see Love instead of this…” 

or 

“I choose to see Love over fear…”

Those two statements can fuel you with the power to get through any situation, and they will open the pathway to see better options for solving the situation you’re in.

Tip #7 – Bring Your Mind Back to Peace.

Mental Alchemy is all about transforming your current situation into a situation you would better like. It’s taking a shitty situation and transforming it into something better. 

I always recommend that you should try to find at least 10 positive or good things in every bad situation you’re in. A good place to start is to say, “I choose to see Love instead of this…” This activates your brain to look after the positive things. Now, don’t be too hard on yourself. Many times the positive things are lessons, opportunities to grow, enlightenment, seeing things more clearly, or even people showing their true colour. Blessings in disguise. 

The core essence of our ‘home’ is Divine Love, Peace and Joy. Those are the Most Dominant Emotions our souls want to return to! Every time you’re using Mental Alchemy, your focus should be to transform your current situation into a presence of Divine Love, Peace and Joy.
