7 Easy Ways to Never Have a Lightworker Burnout

It is never easy to get out of a burnout, a Lightworker Burnout or a regular burnout. Getting out of a burnout is just as difficult as recovering from a depression or stress disorder. Many times stress and depression are a part of the burnout.

Just as with depression, there more burnouts you had had, the more difficult it becomes to recover from it. Each time gets harder than the previous one. So instead of falling into the pit, I will recommend that you do anything in your power to avoid Lightworker Burnout.

In this Guide, I will give you 7 easy ways to avoid a Lightworker Burnout.

Way #1 – Say No!

You already know the importance of saying “no!” and setting boundaries. I know for sure you have heard it at least one million times. So consider this point as a friendly reminder.

Way #2 – Practice Assertiveness.

Personally, when I find it hard to say no, it’s usually because I don’t want to disappoint someone, or I’m afraid that the person would stop liking me if I don’t do what they ask. Writing it down in black on white right now clarifies how my Fear-Based Mind is controlling this behaviour. If you feel the same way as I do, I hope that reading this gave you some enlightenment too.

Way #3 – Practice Self-Care.

If there is something Lightworkers is terrible at, then it’s self-care… and more specifically, Self-love. Somehow Lightworkers had gotten into their head that self-care and self-love are selfish and non-spiritual.

First, being selfish isn’t necessarily a bad thing. As I see it, “being selfish” is often used as a judgement from people who didn’t get what THEY wanted from you. Like, if you don’t help them with whatever it might be, then they tell you that you’re selfish. Am I the only one who sees the irony here?

Way #4 – Remember the Law of Giving & Receiving.

I have written quite a few articles about the Universal Law of Giving & Receiving.

The Law of Giving & Receiving is, in my opinion, more important than the Law of Attraction because the Law of Giving & Receiving ensure to maintain an equal balance between energies. Very simply, the Law of Giving & Receiving says, the more you give, the more you should allow yourself to receive. The more you receive (even if you take it yourself), the more you should make sure to give back.

Way #5 – Be Realistic With Your Time.

Ideally, we would sleep for 8 hours, work for 8 hours and have 8 hours off for leisure. However, that’s just not always practical in the world we’re living in right now.

Suppose you, like me, have absolutely no time sense and are depending on alarm clocks and calendar alerts throughout the whole day. In that case, this point is especially for you.

Way #6 – Monetise Your Light WORK.

We’ve already touched on this very shortly. Monetising your help is not only an incredible way to balance out the Giving and Receiving energies between you and those you help. – It’s also an act of Assertiveness, Self-Care, Setting Boundaries, and Putting a Limit on the Time you’re Spending on Helping Everyone Else.

As a rule of thumb, for any kind of service; coaching, readings, sessions, etc., you should AT LEAST charge $100-200/hour.

NEVER go under $100/hour!!!

If you feel uncomfortable about this…

Way #7 – Have Faith that People Will Find a Solution to Their Problems With or Without Your Help.

When you start asking for payment for your services, setting boundaries, becoming more assertive and prioritising your own needs, and you start using the word “no!” some people will inevitably leave you… and that’s okay!
